Fall TV Schedule

cute-TVI’ve mentioned before what a TV junkie I am and last week I was in heaven. Every May, the networks release their fall/winter schedules and what tv pilots have been chosen to air and what shows will be cancelled.  That event is called the Upfronts. During the week, each network is given a day to update and share the information. Most of the shows listed on the new schedule I’ve been watching, some for a few years now and will continue to watch, others I might have started watching, but since I’ve become bored with and stop. I try and watch the majority of the fall pilots, but sadly, the last few years I haven’t been impressed. We will see what’s in store for the new season. I am excited about a couple shows such as the Prison Break reboot and This is Us starring Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia. TVline.com has released a full schedule at their site. The link is here.  As of right now, behind the cut is my schedule for fall television:

(New programs in UPPER CASE; all times AZ time)

9-10 P.M. — TIMELESS (NBC)

8-9 P.M. — THIS IS US (NBC)
9-10 P.M. — Chicago Fire (NBC)

9-10 P.M. — Chicago P.D. (NBC)

7-8 P.M. — Grey’s Anatomy (ABC)
7:30-8 P.M. — THE GOOD PLACE (NBC)
8-9 P.M. — Chicago Med (NBC)
8-9 P.M. – PRISON BREAK (FOX midseason)

8-9 PM Hawaii Five-0 (CBS)

8-9 P.M. — Secrets and Lies (ABC)
9-10 P.M. — Quantico (ABC)

On my must see watch list: This Is Us

and The Good Place starring Kristen Bell:

Comedies usually are not on my watch list, but I’m a HUGE Kristen Bell fan and this premise looks so interesting and I’d love to see where the imagination goes in showing what heaven is like.

Some shows will be airing in January, or rather mid-season. The ones I’ll watch or give a try are:

FOR MIDSEASON: NBC’s Chicago Justice, Emerald City, Midnight Texas, Shades of Blue ..…. FOX‘s Prison Break…. ABC‘s Scandal, Still Star-Crossed, Time After Time..…. CBS‘ … THE CW‘s Riverdale.. .

Shows I watch that ended this year were Rizzoli and Isles, Awkward., Faking It, Castle (although I’m behind) and for now Nashville. 🙁

Shows I am still catching up on: Bones (season 9), The Flash (season 2), Scandal (season 5), all the Chicago franchise and Castle (season 6). I’m also re-watching Grey’s Anatomy (presently on season 2) and Prison Break (re-watching from the beginning)

As for Nashville, this show ending really was disappointing. I felt like this past year the show went bonkers focusing on characters such as Maddie and Cash, but with new writers, I know the show could get back to the heart and soul I loved in Seasons 1 and 2. I’m so nervous to watch the finale on Wednesday. If the show does not get picked up on another network, I’m worried my favorite couples decisions will be left on a cliffhanger. NO!! I think we can all agree that when a show ends and does not get renewed, that a proper ending should be available for the viewer. We can only hope! If you would like to help Nashville possibly get renewed, go sign the petition here.

So, what shows do you watch? Which shows are you excited about?? Share! I’d love to see if we have any in common.
